Hey peoples
I'm currently in the process of setting up an etsy for my big sister and all her wonderful handmade jewellery pieces, I shall be posting photies and links here too, obviously not claiming any of her work as my own, but she's not very techie so I'm basically in charge of all online selling of her stuff. And I've never sold anything online before so I'm a little nervous about things going wrong and ending up disappointing people. I'm not exactly a pessimist, just over-cautious, selling on stalls and in the arts and information centre hasn't gone well so far. Still, gotta keep trying.

Aaaanyway, once I've got that up and running I might look into making some things of my own .. I have a lot of spare Fimo around from the days when I was Tim Minchin obsessive and made little figurines of him and Tony the Fish  (which I still have dozens of in a box somewhere, after I decided they were actually really mis-shapen and odd coloured and generally not worth anything to anyone)

And I need a new project which isn't Fimo-related, as I did get kind of bored of that so .... hats. Provided I can successfully dig out the old sewing machine and find cheap fleece fabric and a decent basic pattern, I want to make a couple of fun, probably animal-themed, with ears, fleece hats. Because I have seen some truly amazing ones and I'd like to have a go. Just for me, not to sell or anything, unless I turn out to be good at it, then I guess we'll see, and I'll have to rack my brains for original designs

Soooooo yeah, these are all my good intentions. I've always been good at ideas. Sticking at them, not so much. But right now, this minute, as I sit on my bed and dream of goat hats and fawn hats and a shiny Etsy page for Big Sis, I'm feeling optimistic. I WILL do this.

Any help/suggestions on the hat thing will be muchly appreciated.
